Building on our initial saltwater tests in 2023, we returned to Premuda in 2024 to continue testing the VADA NYX rebreather. This time, we extended our dives to depths of up to 70 meters around Premuda and Ist Island, once again benefiting from excellent diving conditions.
A key improvement in this round of testing was the addition of two external 1.8L cylinders for oxygen supply and drysuit inflation. Despite these modifications, both trim and hydrodynamics remained exceptional, ensuring optimal maneuverability in the water. More importantly, these improvements significantly increased the overall safety of the system, reinforcing the reliability of the VADA NYX for deep technical diving.
