The VADA NYX rebreather has been subjected to additional open water testing, this time in Lake Zaovine, with a back-mounted counterlung configuration. The dives were conducted at depths of up to 75 meters, and the results were outstanding: flawless performance with no noticeable difference in breathing resistance compared to front-mounted counterlungs, both at depth and during decompression. This test confirms the versatility of the rebreather, offering divers the flexibility to choose their preferred counterlung setup without compromising breathing comfort.
These tests also confirmed our predictions about the performance of our novel Unwrapped Radial Scrubber® design at medium depths, further validating the efficiency and reliability of the VADA NYX.
