Innovative CO₂ filtration system

VADA NYX features a novel Unwrapped Radial Scrubber® design that ensures smoother and more consistent gas flow, significantly reducing breathing resistance. This design also increases the scrubber capacity, extending device operating hours and reducing the frequency of filter material replacement, leading to both logistical and economic benefits for users.

Efficient gas flow channels

By leveraging fluid mechanics insights, we have designed wide and unobstructed gas channels that further reduce breathing resistance and improve performance.

State-of-the-art construction

The VADA NYX is compact, ergonomic, and aesthetically pleasing, offering superior dive autonomy and less breathing resistance while maintaining a sleek, hydrodynamic profile. Thanks to the innovative scrubber solution, its profile is 60mm lower than the most compact units on the market.

Use of advanced materials

The body and the armor are constructed from advanced composite materials, carbon fiber and aramid, commonly used in the marine, aerospace, and automotive industries, ensuring enhanced high resistance to mechanical shock, as well as the total absence of electrocorrosion.

Advanced aesthetics

With more efficient, compact, and aesthetically pleasing solutions, VADA NYX stands out among other devices available on the world market.

USED TECHNOLOGIES & MATERIALS

Twill carbon

Twill carbon

3K twill carbon fiber is a woven composite material featuring a distinctive diagonal pattern for enhanced strength and flexibility. It combines high tensile strength with a lightweight and visually appealing structure.

Forged carbon

Forged carbon

Forged carbon is a high-performance composite material made by compressing randomly arranged carbon fibers with resin under high pressure. It offers exceptional strength and a unique marbled appearance.

Brushed 316L

Brushed 316L

Brushed 316L stainless steel is a corrosion-resistant alloy with a directional finish created through abrasive brushing. It offers excellent durability, resistance to harsh environments, making it ideal for marine applications.

Titanium

Titanium

Titanium is lightweight, high-strength metal with outstanding corrosion resistance. Titanium screws are used on all anodized aluminum parts to prevent electro-corrosion, ensuring long-term durability and reliability in marine environment.

Anodized aluminum - blue / red

Anodized aluminum – blue / red

Hard anodized aluminum is aluminum alloy treated with an electrochemical process to create an ultra-durable, corrosion-resistant surface. This hardened oxide layer significantly enhances wear resistance, making it ideal for high-performance applications in marine environments.

316L

316L

316L stainless steel is a marine-grade alloy known for its exceptional corrosion resistance in saltwater and harsh environments. Its high strength, durability, and resistance to pitting and oxidation make it ideal for demanding applications in diving industry.

POM

POM

POM (Polyoxymethylene), also known as acetal or Delrin, is a high-performance engineering plastic with excellent strength, low friction, and wear resistance. It is widely used in precision parts due to its durability and dimensional stability.

Perforated 316L

Perforated 316L

Perforated 316L stainless steel combines the exceptional corrosion resistance with enhanced airflow and structural integrity necessary in construction of our Unwrapped Radial Scrubber®.
